What is SCP?

Senior Companion Volunteers are age 55 or over and provide assistance and friendship to seniors or disabled persons who have difficulty with daily living tasks.

SCP currently serves six counties:

  • Breckinridge
  • Grayson
  • Hardin
  • Marion
  • Nelson
  • Washington

There are many homebound seniors in your area that could use just a little help to keep them living independently.

Do you need assistance?

SCP provides assistance and friendship to seniors or disabled individuals. Volunteers are available to assist clients with light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation or short distance transportation. Our volunteers provide respite care to relieve primary care givers for short periods of time.

Do what friends do for friends, lend a helping hand!

Senior Companion Volunteers

They are companions and FRIENDS!
